As the days get warmer, spring has fully bloomed in Nova Scotia. For this week’s what’s cooking, we are celebrating moms, eating wholesome local meals, and saying cheers with Nova Scotia craft beverages.

Shore Club

Shore Club Lobster Suppers

Just in time for Mother’s Day, the Shore Club is reopening for their 86th summer season on Sunday, May 8th. Treat the mother in your life to a crustacean feast, with no preparation or clean up involved. Mother’s Day is a busy time of the year for the Shore Club so there will be three sittings – 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00. Reservations are required and can be done online.

For the remainder of May, lobster suppers will be held on Saturday and Sunday only (4 – 7 p.m.) and from June 1 – October 8 they’re open every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa

Digby Pines will be hosting their first-ever beer fest Friday, May 13, from 12-4 p.m. Join in on the festivities and celebrate Nova Scotia craft beer while enjoying locally sourced food and music. For more information on the event, visit their website.
