The Canteen launches their Youtube Series The Canteen Cooks
In their first ever The Canteen Cooks episode, Chef Renée makes two versions of a grilled cheese sandwich and her super simple creamy tomato soup. Their second video is also now live and features pumpkin pie and sweet potato pie.
Founders House Dining Trust the Chef Surprise Tasting Menu
Founders House Dining and Drinks is hosting a locally immersive six-course surprise tasting menu they call Trust the Chef, accompanied by wine pairings for two. The evening of award-winning food and drinks, is followed by an elegant one-night stay and three-course breakfast at Queen Anne Inn, Annapolis Royal. November 21: Warm up to Winter Market at Cole Harbour Heritage Farm
Warm up to winter with The Cole Harbour Heritage Farm on Saturday, November 21st from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. The outdoor event will host a variety of vendors selling local, handmade goods and products in the farm yard. The Warm up to Winter Open Air Market is free to attend, so bundle up and get festive!
November 28 – December 20: Halifax Evergreen Festival
This holiday season, a new outdoor festival is coming to Downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Bundle up and be part of the inaugural Evergreen Festival as the city comes alive with music, light, and joy.
