AN APPLE A DAY

September 12: Did you know that some of your favourite local wineries are also cider producers? Case in point, L’Acadie Vineyards in the Gaspereau Valley! In addition to making award-winning, premium traditional method sparkling wines, Bruce Ewert and his team also produce this aged, effervescent organic cider.

2016 Duncanson Brook Cider – 8.7% ABV

This organic cider is named after the brook on the vineyard property, as well as the pioneering Duncanson family who farmed apples many years ago where the Estate vineyard is now. Traditional methods of natural fermentation in the bottle produce fine bubbles. Duncanson Brook cider is made with certified organic apples from the famous Annapolis Valley – Golden Russett, Northern Spy and Jonagold. Pairs well with spicy dishes, but also shines on its own!
750 ml – $24.99
Purchase at: L’Acadie Vineyards

L’Acadie Vineyards is a trail stop on the 2018 Good Cheer Trail. Be sure to get your passport stamped when you visit!
