Knoydart Cheese House & Farm is operated by the Hunter Family, and is the only grass-fed, certified organic dairy farm east of Quebec. We base our cheese recipes on Double Gloucester and Caerphilly, using only organic milk from our own farm.

Double Gloucester and Caerphilly cheddar recipes using only grass-fed organic milk from our farm give our cheeses uniquely local flavours from our land.

Flavoured cheddars, aged, Dummaglass and our famous Farmhouse Cheddar fresh curds are always available, along with fresh milk and cream, produced weekly.

Cheese is available year-round at our Cheese House, select Sobeys locations or independent stores in the Maritimes, as well as Farmers’ Market in Antigonish, Baddeck, and Mabou.
