 Get Your Hands On Local One-Year Anniversary

February 17 marks the first anniversary of Get Your Hands On Local! Have you seen the Taste of Nova Scotia logo in stores and restaurants near you?

For the past year, the province-wide, buy-local program has featured Taste of Nova Scotia signage in more than 150 retail locations across the province to assist in making local choices easier than ever before. Look for the Taste of Nova Scotia logo where you eat, drink and shop to easily find products that are harvested, grown and produced right here in Nova Scotia!

New Menu at the Five Fishermen Restaurant

Located in downtown Halifax, Five Fishermen is one of the city’s most popular seafood restaurants. Since their recent re-opening, they have created exciting new food and drink menus for you to enjoy! From seared crab cakes, to tuna & umami fried rice, their vast array of high quality dishes will make for a delicious night out!

Looking for a unique winter dining experience? SHUCK Seafood + Raw Bar has a new snow globe patio dome! This dome offers the best of both worlds; sitting on a patio during the cold months AND staying warm.
