Welcome to our first “What’s Cooking at Home” blog! Similar to our original “What’s Cooking” blogs, we will be posting these once a week to provide updates on what our members are offering. These blogs will include a weekly recipe, along with a tip on how to continue to support local businesses.

Brewed with Earl Grey leaves, cookie and red malt, this drink gives you the ultimate “tea and biscuits” experience. Orders can be placed online for delivery, or you can visit them every day from noon to 8 p.m.

Jost Vineyards is now open for business! Their team has been working tirelessly to ensure visitors will have wide open spaces, safe amenities and easy shopping. The vineyard is now complete with stress-free traffic patterns and lots of physical distancing environments. They’re open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. Time to sit back, relax and enjoy your favorite glass of wine.

Tired of cooking? Take a look at The Grand Banker Bar & Grill’s new take out menu! They are open Wednesday to Sunday from 4 – 8 p.m. Phone lines open at 3 p.m. for orders!

The Carleton

Starting May 21, Halifax’s multi award winning live music and food venue, The Carleton will be offering take out! Orders can be placed online by 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and pickup is between 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays. Keep an eye on the menu as it will be changing weekly, giving the perfect opportunity to try out different locally sourced dishes!

Featured recipe: Nova Scotia Haddock Francese 

We can all use a little inspiration when it comes to cooking so why not check out this week’s feature recipe. So many delicious foods are now coming into season now that the warmer weather is finally here!
