This Week: Nights dedicated to local cocktails, Savour Food & Wine Festival, Nova Scotia’s first ever Lobster Crawl and cozy winter weekend getaways

February 1: Imbibe – A Cocktail Event

Take in a night of delicious cocktails made for you by Nova Scotia’s best mixologists. With over 30 cocktails to sample and 25 restaurants/bars and NSLC participating, Savour Food and Wine Festival’s Imbibe Cocktail Event is not one to miss!

February 1: Dueling Pianos

Chives Canadian Bistro

Check out father and son duo, Eddie and Quincy Bullen’s, piano skills at Pier 21 on February 1. While downtown, make it a dinner date and stop in to nearby Taste restaurants: Chives, Heartwood, or Lot Six. 

February 3: Savour The Biosphere

White Point is hosting an event dedicated to activities and unique food from the UNESCO Southwest Nova Biosphere Reserve. Harvest green crabs, go lobster fishing, taste bone broth and more!

February 2 to 19: South Shore Lobster Crawl

Crawl a’board! Nova Scotia’s first ever South Shore Lobster Crawl is happening this week. From Barrington to Peggy’s Cove, there are plenty of lobster-filled activities to try. Some participating Taste members: Mateus Bistro, The Kiwi Cafe and Quarterdeck.

February: Lobster Lovers Get-a-way

Take a break from the everyday routine. Runaway to Atlantica Oak Island this month for a Lobster Get-a-way. Package includes a breakfast of Lobster Benedict.

 

Savour Food & Wine Festival (Feb. 22) – Bringing together some of Nova Scotia’s talented mixologists, incredible brewers, award-winning winemakers as well as phenomenal chefs over a series of five incredible events.

Nova Scotia Ice Wine Festival (Feb. 24 to March 4) – The Nova Scotia Icewine Festival is the premier winter wine festival hosted in the heart of the Annapolis Valley.

Maplicious (March 17) – We’ve tapped into our roots and are pleased to celebrate the sweet liquid gold at Maplicious on March 17th at the Wolfville Farmers’ Market.

Gourmet Weekend with Celebrity Chef (May 4 to 6) – Celebrity Chef Vikram Vij will headline Fox Harb’r Resort’s 2018 Spring Culinary Weekend.

Devour! Fox Harb’r Weekend Getaway (May 18 to 20) – Fox Harb’r Resort is delighted to host once again the Nova Scotia created food & film festival, a celebration of culinary and cinema, with an added splash of comedy. Hosted by CBC personality, stand-up comic, actor and chef Ali Hassan.
