Tidal Bay Launch

Last week, the Wine Growers Association of Nova Scotia along with 14 wineries and several partners celebrated the launch of this year’s Tidal Bay wines with events across the province. Haven’t had the opportunity to try this year’s selection yet? Stop by one of the wineries that produces a Tidal Bay or a participating retail location to pick up a bottle for yourself.

Wineries with a Tidal Bay this year include:

Jost Vineyards, Gaspereau Vineyards, Mercator Vineyards, Sainte Famille Wines, Avondale Sky, Planters Ridge, Blomidon Estate Winery, 1365 Church Street Vineyards, Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards, Grand Pre Wines, L’Acadie Vineyards, Benjamin Bridge, Luckett Vineyards, and Eileanan Breagha.

Petite Riviére Vineyards

The Whiskey Teller

Compass Distillers

Compass Distillers has just launched the first Nova Scotia Absinthe! A limited quantity of 500ml bottles will be available for purchase exclusively through Compass Distillers, both in-person at the Compass Distillers cocktail bar and on the Compass Distillers online shop.  Each 500mL bottle is $52.17 plus tax.

2022 Taste of Nova Scotia Awards

It’s time to celebrate culinary excellence — the nomination period for the Taste of Nova Scotia Awards has officially opened. Since 2008, Taste of Nova Scotia has been celebrating culinary excellence in Nova Scotia with these awards. From now until July 31, place your nominations for Restaurant of the Year, Award for Service, Producer of the Year, Product of the Year, and the Culinary Ambassador Award (in memory of Gary MacDonald).
