March: Garrison launches Chamomile IPA
Garrison Brewing has launched their Infusion Confusion Chamomile IPA. This beer was the winner of the Home Brew-Off last year! If you want to taste this delicious drink then head over to Halifax this weekend and stop in to give it a try. It’s now available in bottles at the Garrison retail store, and soon at private liquor stores and select NSLC stores.

March 23 to 29 : Halifax Burger Week Continues
Halifax Burger Week continues! If you haven’t started yet, get ready to loosen your belt buckle. March 27: Battery Park Opens for Lunch
Battery Park Beer Bar is officially open 7 days a week for lunch folks! Not only are they open for lunch during Halifax Burger Week but they’ve introduced a brand new burger called… the Ace Burger! Dine in this week or eat out, pick your poison.

April 1: Halifax Tea Festival
On Saturday, spend the day at the Halifax Tea Festival. Sample teas and delicious food, participate in a variety of workshops and lectures to expand your knowledge surrounding tea, and see Taste exhibitors like: Just us! and PepperHead. It’s time to get this parTEA started!

April 1: Blind Wine Tasting Event
This Saturday, head to White Point Beach for an unforgettable April Fool’s Day. Get ready to put your blindfolds on while Sommelier Dan Tanner guides you through his ‘Off the Vine’ Wine Tasting through the vineyards here in Nova Scotia. He’ll try to fool you and test you, as you swirl, sip and savour your way through one tasting at a time.
