Pete’s Pop-Up Dinner on the Hill  at Luckett Vineyards features 5 local chefs, creating 5 courses for your enjoyment August 14.  Chefs include Chef Ray Bear of Scanway, Chef Bee Choo Char of GioPeter Dewar of NSCC, Annaleisa Scigliano of NSCC and in house chef, Richard Harmes. 

Swing Under the Stars at the Luckett Vineyards August 23 is sure to get your toe tapping. Celebrate with food, wine & the Annapolis Big Band.

August 15:

Join Blomidon Estate Winery for their grand opening Saturday August 15. In honour of the occasion, the winery will be releasing the new 2013 Unoaked Chardonnay, and the special reserve 2010 Maréchal Foch. Come by over the weekend to enjoy a glass of wine and Fox Hill cheese, reserve tastings with the winemaker, and enjoy a hay ride vineyard tour.

Avondale Sky Winery presents Avondale’s Bite of Nova Scotia.  Sample some of the best offerings from local restaurants while you listen to live music and browse wonderful art from across the Maritimes.  Enjoy samples of the wines of several neighboring wineries and local craft brewers. Event runs from  10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

August 17:

The Ecology Action Centre brings together 5 local chefs for a simple delicious evening titled the Perfect World. Food, drink, music and art will be celebrated as well as a silent auction including an eco-friendly trip to the Trout Point Lodge. Look for Chef Jason Lynch of Le Caveau Restaurant and Scott Tannahill of Chives Canadian Bistro. Tickets available online.
