Fleur de Sel has just released their final menu for 2015! Stop in to visit and enjoy tons of delicious, local food and beverages.

It’s Organic Week all across Canada. Head to L’Acadie Vineyards to help celebrate the largest annual celebration of organic food, farming and products across the country.

The NSLC Port of Wines Festival features over 300 wines from around the world paired with Nova Scotia-inspired food items from Sober Island Oysters, Morris East, The Kilted Chef and Harbour City Bar & Grill.
September 25
From 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. the Masstown Market Lighthouse Wharf will be celebrating their second annual Lobster Corn Boil. Local clams, lobster and corn boiled on their wharf with live music from the Elliot brothers.
NOTE: There’s only a few weeks left to visit Masstown Market’s Catch of the Bay fish and chip boat, open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Starting Friday at 11:00 a.m., the Halifax Waterfront will be filled with traditional German food, music, and Garrison’s Hemmerschlagen Brau to celebrate the 2015 Halifax Oktoberfest.

- October 2, 2015: This year’s Planters Ridge Loop Harvest Dinner includes a five course dinner prepared by chef Michael Howell. Each course will be paired with a Planters Ridge Wine and a Devour Food & Film Fest short film.
- October 2-4, 2015: Treat your palate with local food and wine while supporting a good cause. Avondale Sky Winery and D’Vine Morsels have partnered with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to help raise awareness and proceeds for their Cook for the Cure event.

- October 3, 2015: Harvest Festival – Come to the Wolfville Farmers’ Market to help celebrate the bounties of the harvest with gorgeous wines, craft beers and locally sourced food pairings prepared by area chefs.
- October 4, 2015: Celebrate with Avondale Sky Winery on their fourth anniversary. They’ll be roasting a pig and sampling wine, with proceeds going to the Building Fund of the Avondale United Church.
- October 9, 2015: Give thanks at White Point Beach Resort during a weekend of live entertainment, daily programs and a delightful Thanksgiving Day Dinner Buffet. Check out their menu full of tasty, local products.
