And just like that, the end of March is somehow upon us. Even if April takes its time bringing the sunshine, there’s already a lot to look forward to!

Easter is right around the corner, spring markets will start to pop up again, and many of those seasonal spots we’ve been missing are getting ready to open their doors. Weekends at Chain Yard Urban Cidery

Now that it’s getting nicer out, it’s time to start filling up your weekend! In the heart of downtown Halifax, you can always count on Chain Yard to be hosting fun events and deals. While themes and dates often vary, here are two you can count on for this upcoming weekend:

Bring Your Own Baby to the Bar – Saturday March 28

If you’re a parent looking to get out of the house without the stress of finding a sitter, look no further than Chain Yards BYOBB! This event was designed by the owners themselves after becoming parents, creating a zone where both adults and kids are welcome.

The taproom is prepped for the whole family, offering high chairs for babies and a big screen playing movies with headphones to keep the older kids entertained. The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and admission is free, but because it’s such a local favorite, you’ll want to contact gracie@chainyardcider.com ahead of time to secure your spot.

Trivia Brunch – Every Sunday

If it’s your turn to find the friend group an activity, then Chain Yard’s trivia brunch is sure to be a hit! Food starts up at 11, before the trivia games kick off at 11:30. Between rounds, try some of their delicious ciders and snacks.

Spots can fill up fast, so be sure to reserve your table ahead of time, especially if you’re bringing a full team!


Calling all Ladies to The Quarterdeck Resort!

Gather your closest friends and escape to The Quarterdeck Resort for a sleepover filled with laughter, cocktails, and cozy luxury! This limited time package includes a one night’s resort stay for four guests, charcuterie board to share and a cocktail!
