Transforming Chocolate Into Art – Gourmandises Avenue Chocolaterie

Jean-Pierre Gallois and Yseult Bertic have been transforming chocolate into works of art at Gourmandises Avenue Chocolaterie in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia for more than a decade. After their training and apprenticeships in France, this husband and wife team worked throughout Europe and other parts of Canada before setting up shop in Nova Scotia.

They sell their beautiful creations at retailers throughout Nova Scotia and at their retail shop at the Halifax Seaport Market. Their desserts include a wide range of incredible chocolates, truffles and macarons.
