Meander River Music Nights continue! August 9 head out to the farm for music from The Avondaliens. Grab a bite from the food truck and enjoy the good music with a good brew in hand!

August 9 The Old Orchard Heritage Barn is jumping back in time! Dj Mike Butler will be providing all the boot stomping songs for the night of Glowin’ Back to the 80’s. Gather some friends and grab your tickets to time travel!


Jost Vineyards

August 10 Jost Vineyards is hosting their annual Rosé All Day event! Raise a glass and stomp your feet on the patio to live music from Mac & Hawes. While grooving enjoy wine tastings, giveaways, specials, and delicious plates from the Seagrape Cafe. Tickets are available at the vineyard or by calling 1-800-565-4567 Ext. 1018.


Blue Lobster Public House

Blue Lobster Public House is a happening place for live music this August! Starting on August 9 Andre Pettipas is kicking off the weekend alongside karaoke with KGB Entertainment. August 10 Swift Kick, a Taylor Swift tribute band will take over the stage for the night. Grab your tickets now to groove in the beer garden!

Luckett Vineyards 

Luckett L.I.S.T & Brunch is getting closer! August 11 spend your Sunday getting your daily activity in with a low intensity strength training session led by Tidal Training Club. Good Robot Brewing Co. 

Good Robot is bringing the scholastic book fair nostalgia with their Books and Brews afternoon August 11! @kydraslittlelibrary and the King’s Co-op Bookstore are taking over the entire taproom with multiple vendors. From 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. wander around the Robie Street taproom with a cold beer looking for books to line your shelves! Entry is PWYC donations, which will go to the Halifax Community Fridge.


Le Caveau Restaurant & Saltbox Brewery

August 14 Le Caveau is heading to the Saltbox taproom at the Shining Waters Marina for a pop up three course menu! Enjoy take out style meal on site with a glass of wine or Saltbox pint, savour it at home. From 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. dig into mouth watering cuisine and take in the beautiful views of the marina. August 9, 16, 23 & 30: Long Table Social Club has weekly scheduled entertainment on Fridays! Relax in the aromas of the wood-fired grill and the harmonies of live music with a backdrop of the Bay of Fundy.

August 17: Benjamin Bridge will be taking over the ship as the weekly Wine on the Water feature winery! Tasting wine and snack menu available, the cruise perfect for wine lovers. Secure your spot before they set sail!

August 17: If you’re looking for a good laugh, head out to Saltbox Shining Waters for a sharp witted Comedy Night! Headliner Travis Lindsay, will be accompanied by Kyle Carpenter and Josh Poulain for a trio that is guaranteed to leave you in stitches, get your tickets now!

August 18: Meander River is getting ready for their August farmers market. Vendors include local makers, farmers, food trucks and artisans! Head out to the farm to support and enjoy the community!

August 24: The Carleton is calling all Taylor Swift fans to join them for an Eras Tour tribute night! Spend the night dancing to covers by some of the best local artists for an unforgettable night. This is the third show of the weekend, get your tickets quick!

August 23: Sea level is hosting their annual Caribbean Patio Party! Savour tasty bites from the food truck and wash it down with exclusive signature drinks all while dancing to the beats of Frederick Mujica.

August 23: Good Robot is inviting you to their Queer Prom Extravaganza, Dance Magic Dance! Enjoy a night of enchanting performances and entertainment starting at 8 p.m. running late. Tickets are available online with a limited quantity at the door.
