December 3rd & 4th: Winter Fest at Fresh Twenty One
NSCC’s ‘Fresh Twenty One’ is welcoming guests to celebrate the Holiday season with a 7-course meal with pairings included. Fresh Twenty One is a student led restaurant classroom located at NSCC Akerley Campus, Dartmouth Nova Scotia. They are open throughout the academic year for lunch and dinner. Now – December 20th: Holiday Lunch Buffet
Join Durty Nellys: An Authentic Irish Pub for their Holiday Lunch Buffet on Thursdays and Fridays beginning November 29th and running until December 20th. The buffets will run from 11:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. and will be $16.99/ person. See their Facebook page to find out what will be on the menu!
December 6th – 7th: Chef Nights at Sugar Moon
Join Sugar Moon Farm December 6 & 7 for Chef Claude’s Christmas Chef Nights! Experience incredible cuisine, exquisite wines and live music all in a sugar camp setting. Dinner tickets are $75 and wine pairings are $25. See their Facebook page for more details.
December 7th: Chocolate & Wine Pairings at Planters Ridge
Explore the decadently sweet and savoury art of wine and chocolate pairing. Planters Ridge Winery will be tasting different wines matched with chocolate and chocolate-infused dishes – from classically sweet flavour combinations to unexpected savoury surprises. Tickets are $20.
December 7th: Christmas Open House with Gaspereau Vineyards
From 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on the December 7th, join Gaspereau Vineyards & Vine Side Patio for their holiday celebration! There will be complimentary wine and food tastings, discounts on select bottles of wine, lots of great gift ideas and much more! Somebubbly to Love – A Speed Tasting (December 13): Obladee, A Wine Bar is hosting “Somebubbly to Love” Speed Tasting. They will introduce five eligible Nova Scotia Sparkling Wines in five minute intervals – blind! With nibbles prepared by chef Josh. All you need to do is listen, taste, and pick your favourite. There’s a prize in it for you too.
Coldstream Cocktail Open House (December 14): Coldstream Clear Distillery invites you to join them for their annual cocktail open house from 12:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.! There will be festive cocktails, prizes, open house specials and more.
Cooking with Kitchen Door (December 27): Tacos aren’t just for Tuesdays! Join Kitchen Door for this family class and share the fun of making your own corn tortillas with tex-mex chicken, ground beef, and fresh salsa!
Annual Chinese New Year 2019 – Year of the Rat (January 20 & 21, 2020): Come celebrate Chinese New Year 2020 – Year of the Rat with The Orient Chinese Cuisine! Enjoy a 10+ course dinner made by chef Ivan Chan. Tickets: $88/person.
