Garrison Brewing

The Halifax Jazz Festival is back this year! Join Garrison Brewing on July 31st from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. at their Seaport location for jazzy tunes, craft beer and sizzling meats. Starting a 12 p.m. Chef Jason from CharBoyz will be heating up the patio with a selection of BBQ meats. Then from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., Michael Dalton & Paul St-Amand with perform and from 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Behrooz Mihandkhad & Kyle Tully will perform.

The Tea Brewery

Come celebrate The Tea Brewery’s 20th anniversary! On July 31st & August 1st from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., stop by The Tea Brewery for free cake, iced tea and popcorn to celebrate. There will also be a 20 per cent sale on tea, teaware and accessories, and a big yard sale with book giveaways, and more. Head over to the Tea Brewery this weekend for delicious food, deals, and to celebrate an awesome 20 years!

Chain Yard Urban Cidery

Join Chain Yard Urban Cidery on August 1st from 10 p.m.- 1 a.m. for a fun filled evening of music and cider! Sing along to all your favourite throwbacks with local DJs and enjoy Chain Yard’s cider and specialty cocktails. You don’t want to miss it!

Petite Patrie Chocolate

Calling all the chocolate lovers! Petite Patrie Chocolate will be hosting a tasting event on August 6th from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. Experience their decadent bean-to-bar chocolate, using the finest cacao beans and ingredients. Tickets are $30/person and tables are limited to two-four people. Reserve your table in advance by calling 902-713-5084.

Change is Brewing Co.

Change is Brewing Co. would like to welcome you to their first annual Black Excellence Boat Cruise! On August 7th at 12:30 p.m. dance your way on board the Tall Ship Silva to the beats of African drums by the Halifax Multicultural Drummers. Once onboard sip delicious collaboration beers by Change is Brewing and enjoy your view of the Halifax Waterfront, while listening to reggae roots inspired songs performed by Jah’mila. Tickets are $50/person plus HST and food and beverages are not included in the cost.

Meander River Farm & Brewery

Join Meander River Farm & Brewery August 8th from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. for their Bouquet Workshop! The workshop will teach you how to make beautiful bouquets with lavender, and includes a delicious lunch, and tour of the farm and brewery. Patio Lanterns Festival

The Patio Lanterns Festival is back! This summer and fall our local businesses will be lighting the province up with live music, food and drink specials, summer décor, fun activities and more.
