Battle of the BURGer
Throughout March 2025, Nova Scotia’s South Shore is hosting the Battle of the BURGer, featuring restaurants across Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Bridgewater, and Rose Bay. Each location has crafted a unique burger, with $1 to $2 from every sale supporting the Jennifer Collins Classic. Some Taste of Nova Scotia members are participating, showcasing their culinary creativity. Diners can vote for their favorite burger, with the winner announced in early April! The Breakfast Burger – $12: Fried egg, bacon, sausage, cheddar cheese, and arugula topped with pesto mayo, served on a croissant.
Grand Canadian Bacon-Eh-tor – $22: Atlantic beer patty, candied Canadian maple bacon, pickle chips, jalapenos, green, pilsner cheddar sauce, & a peppercorn bacon aioli, on a local artisan bun.
The Big Cheesy – $22 with potato wedges: 6-ounce Oulten’s beef burger, melted cheddar cheese sauce, crispy onion strings, lettuce, tomato, ketchup & mustard on a homemade bun.
The Pickleback Burger – $19: Atlantic beef patty, lettuce, tomato, our whiskey and dill pickle BBQ sauce, provolone cheese, dill pickles, crispy fried onions, crowned with a deep-fried pickle.
